The human body undergoes many changes and alterations in its lifetime, from infancy to adolescence to adulthood and old age. In women in particular, hormone levels will change drastically from one decade of life to another, and menopause is a hormonal and reproductive change that practically all women will face. This is a natural part of the body, but overall, many women agree that the effects of menopause are unpleasant, and today, anti aging therapy can help clients minimize them. Anti aging treatments intervene with the body’s changing hormone levels, and menopause solutions prove both safe and effective for most clients. When it comes to anti aging therapy and menopause, what are the basics? And what about another aspect of womens health, infertility problems? A woman who struggles to become pregnant may visit her gynecologist and visit infertility centers for testing and treatment.

Menopause and Anti Aging Therapy

There are a number of misconceptions about menopause. It may be noted that “menopause” really only describes a particular 24-hour time frame when a woman’s hormones drastically change and her reproductive ability is altered. In the few years leading up to this, she is in the perimenopausal phase, and her life after menopause is the post menopause phase, when she is incapable of becoming pregnant. As for statistics, the numbers show that even with today’s much longer life spans (compared to previous centuries), the mean age for menopause has changed very little. Today, the mean age for menopause is 51, though in rare cases, a woman may experience it as early as her 30s, or as late as her early 60s. Most often, though, women will undergo this process anywhere from age 40 to 58. Nine in 10 women will experience perimenopause in the four or so years leading up to menopause itself, when her hormone start changing and her menstrual cycle becomes irregular.

Although menopause does not harm the body, most women report a great deal of discomfort with menopause and post menopause life. Her estrogen levels are much lower, and this can cause hot flashes, difficulty with sleep, mood swings, and of course, the end of her reproductive life. Both mental and physical health are impacted, and many women opt for anti aging therapy to reduce or even reverse the symptoms of all this.

Women are urged to start early if they have an interest in anti aging therapy, since after a point in life, this treatment has no effect. Women in their mid 40s or so can look into this and consult their gynecologist. If the patient is cleared for anti aging therapy, they may visit a clinic and receive hormone injections. This can slow down and mitigate many effects of menopause, and the woman’s estrogen levels will be higher than they normally would be. Many women report satisfaction with the results, though higher estrogen levels mean an increased risk of developing breast cancer. Women who undergo anti aging therapy like this should visit clinics for regular checkups, just in case.

Infertility Issues

Meanwhile, another arena of women’s health revolves around reproductive issues. Why might a woman struggle to get pregnant? Many different causes of infertility in both men and women have been identified, such as heavy tobacco use, drinking alcohol in excess, and serious, ongoing stress. Just smoking five cigarettes per day can have a noticeable impact on someone’s reproductive health. If a woman has trouble conceiving, then she and her male partner may visit a fertility clinic, and the doctors there will interview their clients and perform some basic tests. Solutions may vary widely, from recommending lifestyle changes all thew way to medication, hormone injections, and even surgery. For example, a woman’s ovaries may be failing to release an oocyte (egg cell), and without one, pregnancy is impossible. Or, an oocyte is indeed fertilized, but the zygote implants itself on the fallopian tube lining rather than the uterine lining to form a placenta, and that is a dangerous complication that also makes a pregnancy nonviable.

A woman and/or her partner may undergo surgery, or they may choose in vitro fertilization. In other cases, a surrogate mother may have the fertilized egg implanted in her, if the biological mother cannot carry the child for some reason.
