Primal Reservation is a relatively new mod. Yet, it has big aspirations. It adds eleven new mobs. Each is an endangered or extinct species such as the Dodo bird or Bengal Tiger. Each one of these mobs has been painstakingly handcrafted to fit into the blocky game, and yet still look surprisingly like the real thing. Each animal also has unique behavior. For example, the Mandarin Monkey has a chance of applying the Minecraft bonemeal effect which grows nearby trees and plants. There is also an Illiger Poacher which players must stop from hunting the endangered animals.
